  • Gabriela Cardona Walther is a Mexican Mixed Media Artist based in the border between Tijuana and San Diego. She graduated in June 2018 with a Bachelor in Graphic Design from the Autonomous University of Baja California. Her education in photography has been mostly self-thought and attended to workshops and master classes with photographers such as Francisco Mata Rosas, Gerardo Montiel Klint and Daniela Edburg. Since 2019 she co-funded Hausu Media, a production and creative house of content creation and cinema. Her documentary work has been selected as finalist at the ReplyAI Film Festival, at Venice, Italy. 2024

  • Sergio Valdez Sánchez (b. 1983) is a multidisciplinary creative professional who has seamlessly bridged the worlds of technology and visual storytelling. Initially grounded in computer engineering from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Valdez Sánchez has orchestrated a remarkable career transformation, reimagining his technical background as a foundation for innovative audiovisual storytelling.

    As the Co-founder of Hausu Media in 2017, he established a production company that reflects his holistic approach to visual content creation. His work has achieved international recognition, with his films screening across diverse global platforms—from the prestigious Venice Film Festival to influential cinema circuits in Japan, Germany, Mexico, and the United States. Beyond traditional film venues, Sergio has also expanded his creative reach by developing content for various digital platforms, demonstrating his adaptability in an increasingly interconnected media landscape.

    His professional repertoire spans an impressive range of creative roles: filmmaker, cinematographer, video editor, and occasional actor. This versatility allows him to navigate multiple dimensions of audiovisual production, from educational content to independent cinema. His projects have been featured in distinguished festivals like the Morelia Film Festival and Ficunam, highlighting his significant impact on independent film circuits.
